Kuchengetana Trust was born out of the need to fight food insecurity in April 2020 after the announcement of lockdown following due to Covid 19. They now currently serve an average of 1000 people two meals per day. Situated at 20926 Unit A extension, the Trust faces numerous financial constraints and is appealing to the community at large for financial assistance. Kuchengetana Trust has a daily budget of US117 on average to cover food supplies, water and gas.
The trust hope to be able to create a more sustainable environment where its recipients work and earn their keep. This would be achievable through a well researched piggery and fish project that is ready to take off as soon as land is acquired.
This is a plea for the people of Zimbabwe and the rest of the world to come together and be each others keeper.
